Samsung Finally Announce The S4 Mini

After weeks of unending rumours, Samsung finally announced a smaller version of its flagship Galaxy S4 which would be known as the S4 Mini and all the specification of the phone is more or less same as the rumour mill suggested.  S4 Mini come with a slightly smaller 4.3-inch screen and it’s not a big surprised to see many feature on S4 is missing in this Mini version.

Samsung also elaborate that the Galaxy S4 mini is a device that would be “easy to carry and operate with one hand”, perhaps to differentiate the mini from the company’s much larger catalog.
Specs wise, S4 mini come with a decent 940 x 540 pixel resolution screen, a 1.7GHZ dual-core processor, 8GB of internal storage( 5GB is available for use), 1.5GB of RAM plus an 8-megapixel rear facing camera. It is a considerable upgrade compared to its predecessor the S3 Mini which only came with an 800 x 400 screen, dual core 1GHz processor and a 5-megapixel camera.

Expect the S4 mini to come with TouchWiz add-ons installed over Android 4.2 (JellyBean), including S Translator, ChatOn, WatchOn, Group Play, and new camera and photo-sharing features.

S4 Mini will be available in two variants – one with 4G LTE connectivity – which we think would be more expensive and another with 3G SIM cards. Both of the variant expected to be available in different region.

More details about the phone is expected to be revealed at the upcoming Samsung Premier 2013 event being held in London on June 20th.
